Spring Training!

This morning will mark the last heaviest lifting day of my current training block! Which also means that my 3x10 (strength endurance) block is almost done and i get to get back on the bike hardcore after next week. My body has been hating life during this training block but thats no surprise here. Strength endurance training cycles are always rough because of the incredibly high volume, especially after a 3 week taper and 2 weeks of active rest. Although I did take a easy downhill ride on Sunday and was pleasantly surprised when I was able to keep grabbing gears in sections that I have had problems with in the past. Hopefully that is just a taste of what's to come in the following months. After this I'm really excited to see the possible adaptations from my training in the next 5 months!!! Well...its 6 a.m. and I've already been up for an hour and had my coffee....time to get breakfast, work on research, and go to the lab for my a.m. work out.
