Down Week
It isn't until you've been training 4-6 days a week for an extensive period of time that you start to realize how little stressors in life can make a BIG effect on how your fatigue level. Little stressors like not eating properly, not drinking enough water, getting 1 less hour of sleep, driving more, etc...I just completed my down week and am feeling great!!! Summer school isn't too stressful, yet, and I'm getting stoked about my next block of training. I also am trying to raise funds for a road trip out to U.S. mountain bike nationals in Sol Vista, Colorado with Steph, while also heading down to Co Springs for a week of training! If I can get together the appropriate cash, I'm hoping to go back and redeem myself for my 7th place finish last year. We'll see what happens! The guys out there always make a wicked course so I'm stoked to see what they have in store for this year's nationals.
