While I did make it across the country safely.....it wasn't without a few scars. While driving near Columbia, Missouri, I drove into an insane hail storm. The storm cracked my windows and make my car more aero dynamic by causing it to look like a gold ball. Fortunately that was all I endured because when the storm hit St. Louis just a few hours later it was reported that several people were taken to the hospital and 1 or 2 others were killed due to injuries inflicted by the ping pong sized hail. Make me thankful that damage to my car was all that I suffered. I hope all those that were affected by the storm are ok and a speedy recovery.
